100 Years of Winnie-the-Pooh - Competition and Treasure Hunt in Dianalund and Sorø

100 Years of Winnie-the-Pooh - treasure hunt and competition: 10 October – 18 October 2026, Dianalund Bibliotek, Dianalund. Admission is free.
Winnie-the-Pooh celebrates his 100th birthday with children in the Hundred Acre Wood.
In 1926, English author A. A. Milne published "Winnie-the-Pooh", which became known as "Peter Plys" in Danish. The stories of the boy Christopher Robin and his adventures with the stuffed animals Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Owl, and Rabbit have been beloved by children and adults ever since.
During week 42 (autumn half-term), Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends are celebrated at the children's libraries in both Dianalund and Sorø. There is a treasure hunt where you can help Winnie-the-Pooh find his honey pots, a quiz to discover which Pooh character you are most like, and a competition testing your knowledge of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. Winners of the treasure hunt and competition are drawn on 22 October, and both activities offer a gift basket worth approximately 250 kr.
The event is free, and no registration is required. During the autumn half-term, the children's theatre production "Come on an Adventure with Winnie-the-Pooh" is also performed - read more about it via the link to the play. The activities take place at Dianalund and Sorø Library.
