Fuse Point Jam

Fuse Point Jam - dance workshop: 25 October – 20 December 2026, Union, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 60 kr.

Fuse Point Jam offers everyone interested the chance to explore and participate in movement within musical urban subcultures. The aim is to introduce young people and the local community to a co-creative culture and showcase urban cultural traditions as an art form through participation.

The programme is split into two parts: 14:00-15:00 features a beginner-friendly dance workshop, and 15:00-17:00 is jam and open dancefloor. It costs 60 kr. to participate in both workshop and jam, while the jam alone costs 30 kr. Payment is accepted via MobilePay or cash.

The weekly dance workshop is designed as an introduction for newcomers to the culture. There is room for improvisation and personal expression, and through various exercises and steps you can deepen your understanding and play with the movements. Each session has its own theme and always builds around a shared intro, warm-up and closing, with focus on both the social and personal expression.

Fuse Point Jams are weekly music and movement experiences where the boundary between audience and artists is blurred. Through sound, light, architecture and visual setup, participants and artists are invited to reduce the distance between them, so the dancefloor becomes a space for social and physical dialogue.

The organisers work towards a local and collective experience that emerges through relationships and shared interests - something you don't find in your daily activities alone. No forms of discrimination, sexism, racism, homophobia or transphobia are tolerated, and these issues are continuously addressed with members, audiences and workshop participants.
