Khemmis were originally scheduled to play Stengade in 2020, but the concert was cancelled due to Covid. Now the band finally comes to Copenhagen with their doomed heavy metal on 22 October 2026.

Khemmis from Colorado have established themselves as one of the leading names in modern heavy metal after eleven years of albums and tours worldwide. Since their debut Absolution in 2015, they have followed up with Hunted, Desolation, Doomed Heavy Metal MLP and Deceiver - a series of releases that have earned the band a global fanbase with their heavy, almost spiritual doom sound.

The band's fifth, self-titled album is both a celebration and a reinvention: a conceptual heavy metal ritual that moves from the pounding "Invocation of the Dreamer" to the climactic "Benediction Tones". The album balances galloping aggression with emotionally charged choruses and comes with a new visual identity created by artist Christopher Remmers. Despite lineup changes and a shifting world, Khemmis hold fast to what drives them - the music. The self-titled album is released 12 June 2026 via Nuclear Blast.
