Since 2000 it has served as the regional music venue for Funen, alongside Musikhuset Dexter. A major extension opened in 2007, adding a large hall for 900 people. The annual programme runs to 100-120 concerts spanning rock, pop, blues, jazz and electronica.

About: Zar Paulo

In just a few years this Aarhus quintet has gone from club stages to sold-out arenas, driven by politically charged new wave songs and a live show that critics say makes the ground shake. A new album and an 11-city Danish tour are now on the horizon.
