Zar Paulo, URO and Bifald
Three contemporary Danish acts share the bill at Mølleparken: Bifald opens, URO takes the middle slot, and Zar Paulo headlines.
Zar Paulo are a five-piece new wave pop-rock band from Aarhus, fronted by singer Emil Vammen. Their 2022 breakthrough single 'Klap For Fædrelandet' became an unofficial anthem at Danish football and handball matches, and their debut album 'Elendig Software' (2023) won the Gaffa Prize for Album of the Year and the Danish Music Award for Best New Danish Live Act. Known for sharp, satirical lyrics about technology and Danish everyday life, they have built a reputation as one of Denmark's most compelling live bands.
Zar Paulo announced the single 'Paraplyer' - the third and final precursor to the upcoming album 'ex_europa' - and an autumn tour in 11 Danish cities in October-November 2026.
The band's largest headliner shows to date at Aarhus Congress Center (April 10) and KB Hallen in Copenhagen (April 17) were both sold out, and an additional Aarhus concert was put on sale.
The single 'We Are One' was released on September 5, 2025 and was celebrated with a free release concert for 3,000 spectators in Volume Village during Aarhus Festuge.
The single 'Telefonperson' was released on April 4, 2025 - the band's first new music in two years - and the documentary series 'Elendig Software' premiered at CPH:DOX on March 29 and was released in four episodes on DRTV on April 28.
Zar Paulo received the Gaffa Prize 2024 in the category Album of the Year for the debut album 'Elendig Software'.
