Skab! visits Dokk1

Skab! creative workshop at Dokk1: Tuesday 27 October 2026, 17:00–20:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Admission is free.

Skab! always begins with a 30-45 minute warm-up exercise where text and image blend together. Afterwards, there is quiet working time where participants work on their own projects.

Normally Skab! takes place at Godsbanen, but this time it moves as a pop-up to Dokk1.

Today's warm-up is called "Islands and Island-texts - Create a Mini-universe". Hosts Annie Bahnson and Anya Winqvist bring empty islands and island-words, and you give the island life: character, place names, and perhaps a population. If you have a thin black marker, feel free to bring it. Also remember your own project - you can choose to continue working on it after the warm-up, or you can stay with the island for the rest of the evening.

Participation is free, supported by the Danish Authors' Association and Aarhus Municipality's Cultural Development Fund. Registration takes place at a9bahnson@gmail.com. Follow Skab!'s Facebook group to keep an eye on upcoming events: https://www.facebook.com/groups/175237632104003

The event is held in Meeting Room 2 at Dokk1.
