Community Conversation at Skive Library

Community Conversation at Skive Library: 2 November – 7 December 2026, Hovedbiblioteket, Skive.

Join an informal chat with Maria, a community bridge-builder coordinator at Skive Volunteer Centre. She has an overview of the communities in Skive and the surrounding area and can suggest what might suit you.

You can be matched with a community guide who helps you find a community, make first contact, and join in for the first few times. The conversation can cover what you're looking for in a community, what might feel challenging about starting somewhere new, and what needs to be met for it to feel safe. You can also discuss whether a community guide makes sense for you and learn about Socialkompas Skive, where you can search for activities and offers yourself.

If you're interested in becoming a volunteer community guide, there's also a chance for an informal chat about the role.

Organizer: Skive Volunteer Centre. Contact: phone 23 27 44 11 or maria@frivilligcenterskive.dk, weekdays 8:00-14:30.
