Write Together - Free Writing Workshop with Author Ole Ditlev Nielsen · Lokalet "Forest", Copenhagen

Write Together with Ole Ditlev Nielsen: Thursday 5 November 2026, 15:30–18:00, Lokalet "Forest", Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Are you working on a book - a novel, non-fiction, or your own life story? Or have you hit a wall in a writing project and need space, focus, and fresh input? "Write Together" is a free workshop for anyone who writes: those starting from page one, those in the middle of a manuscript needing energy, and those with a different writing project looking for concentrated time.

Author Ole Ditlev Nielsen will give a 20-minute talk on what he has learned from writing more than ten books - how to get started and how to move forward when you get stuck. Afterwards, participants will write for two hours using the Pomodoro technique: short, focused writing intervals with breaks in between. There is no reading aloud, no feedback, and no requirements - you write on your own project, whether you are on page 1 or page 100, or use the writing prompts provided as a starting point. At the end, there is time to network with the other writers.

Schedule: 15:30 welcome and talk on getting started and moving forward, 15:50 writing time in Pomodoro intervals with breaks, 17:50 closing and networking with the chance to continue the conversation.

Participation is free, but places are limited, so registration is required on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your laptop or notebook and your project, no matter how unfinished it is. Coffee can be bought in the café on the same floor, and the venue is close to Ørestad Station and Fields, making it easy to reach by metro, bus, or car. On the day, Ole Ditlev Nielsen's new book "WRITE - How to Become an Author" can be purchased at a special price of 200 kr. (regular price 249 kr. plus shipping).
