Community Singing at BIBLIOTEKET

Community Singing at BIBLIOTEKET: Thursday 5 November 2026, 10:30–11:30, BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Every first Thursday of the month, a group gathers for community singing from the Højskolesangbogen (a Danish folk-song collection) in the foyer of BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej. The session runs from 10:30 to 11:30, and there is room for more voices.

Songs are chosen from the latest edition of the songbook, with selections that match the season, holidays, or current events. Participants help choose the songs, and a pianist accompanies. No registration is required - just show up.

It is free, and everyone can join, whether you sing loudly or softly, are experienced or have never tried before.
