Community Singing at BIBLIOTEKET: Thursday 3 December 2026, 10:30–11:30, BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Every first Thursday of the month, people gather for community singing from the Højskolesangbogen (a Danish folk song collection) - with room for all voices.

The event runs from 10:30 to 11:30, and songs are chosen to match the season, holidays, or current events in the world. Copies of the latest edition of the Højskolesangbogen are available, and participants can suggest songs. A pianist accompanies the singing as the blue songbook fills with community and music.

No registration is needed - just drop by. It is free, and all voices are welcome, whether you sing loudly or softly, are experienced or a beginner.

The event takes place in the foyer on the ground floor.
