For many with ADHD, life unfolds in two worlds at once: an outer world of expectations, deadlines, and social codes, often navigated with a smile and sheer willpower - and an inner world of intense emotions, a mind that rarely stands still, and experiences that can be hard to explain to others. The lecture explores precisely this gap between what the outside world sees and what you experience yourself.

Daniel Viholm, known from @HverdagsADHD, draws on his own life with ADHD, thousands of conversations with others living with the diagnosis, and a solid professional foundation. The lecture touches on how years of misunderstanding can lead you to search for faults in yourself; how masking means showing one version of yourself while hiding other sides; how RSD (rejection sensitivity dysphoria) can make you expect rejection from colleagues, friends, and partners; and how ADHD can affect friendships and romantic relationships when actions don't always match how much you care about someone.

The lecture is personal and delivered with sharpness, vulnerability, and humor. It is relevant for anyone who wants to understand ADHD better and gain more precise language for what can be difficult to understand and explain - both about yourself and about your relationships with others. The organizers encourage you to bring colleagues, friends, partners, parents, or grandparents.
