Copenhagen Short Film Festival: Saturday 7 November 2026, 11:00–23:00, Union, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Copenhagen Short Film Festival is the only festival in Copenhagen dedicated to short films - regardless of genre or format. Founded in 2012, it held its first edition in 2013 at Husets Biograf.

The programme features screenings of short films from both emerging and established filmmakers, as well as masterclasses, talks, and industry-related events where young filmmakers can develop their craft. Some screenings are accompanied by live music, and the festival also hosts parties where audiences can meet filmmakers and other short film enthusiasts.

The festival collaborates with various partners to curate the programme and explores short film as its own art form.

About the venue: Union

Union is a municipally run cultural centre on Nørre Allé 7 in Nørrebro, housed in a former primary school built in 1857. It opened as a community centre in 1993, was known as VerdensKulturCentret from 2006, and took its current name in 2019. The programme is internationally and interculturally focused, with more than 400 events a year ranging from lectures and exhibitions to festivals and concerts. The concert venue Alice, with a capacity of 250, occupies the hall in the back courtyard.
