Description was written before the event

This autumn, the children's library focuses on community, creativity and play at the creative table.

This Saturday the theme is the Play Map - also called the "What shall we play?" poster - a bustling artwork by Danish artist Mormor, created as a tribute to painter Pieter Bruegel's work Children's Games. You colour in your own Play Map as you like and take it home afterwards.

Feel free to bring a sibling, a grandparent or a friend.

About the venue: Højbjerg Bibliotek

Højbjerg Bibliotek on Oddervej serves the Højbjerg, Holme and Skåde neighbourhoods, with catchment areas extending to Beder, Malling and Mårslet. The two-storey building houses adult collections and citizen services on the ground floor, while the first floor holds the children's library, newspapers, periodicals and study spaces. Regular events for children and adults run throughout the year, alongside rotating art exhibitions. From 2027, a new cultural centre called LYS1 is planned to replace the current library.
