Light & Listen

Light & Listen - family event: Thursday 29 October 2026, 15:00–17:30, Gellerup Bibliotek, Brabrand. Admission is free.

In honour of All Saints' Day, Gellerup Church and Gellerup Library invite you to a quiet afternoon with warmth, readings, and a DIY lantern-building workshop.

Each participant builds and decorates their own lantern from recycled tea bags, making it personal. No prior experience is needed - there is room for both beginners and those comfortable working with their hands.

You can take the lantern to the churchyard to remember someone you miss, or place it in a window to bring light to the autumn darkness.

The event is for adults and children from 10 years old, preferably accompanied by an adult. It is free, but requires advance booking.
