Evening for Mothers with Children Struggling with School Refusal and Wellbeing
AYA House, Fredensborg · 200 kr. · ≈ 27 €
Evening for mothers - yoga and wellness: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 17:00–20:00, AYA House, Fredensborg. Tickets cost 200 kr.
Give your nervous system a break with care and presence ❤️
When a child is struggling, mothers are often in constant work mode: noticing, reading signals, regulating, worrying. You try to support and hold space for your child while keeping the rest of the family, work, and daily life together. No matter where you are in the process, it can be enormously demanding to stand beside a child who is having a hard time.
That's why you're invited to an evening where you don't have to fix, solve, or take care of anyone - an evening where you can come exactly as you are, with or without energy. You don't need to perform or explain anything, just receive. The intention is to give you and your nervous system a real break.
The evening is created by Katrine Enemark in collaboration with Hanne Bousager Larsen, who with calm and presence guides you through a gentle space with aromatherapy, gentle yoga, and deep relaxation. Kristian Thorsager contributes soothing music, creating a space where you can briefly let go of responsibility and land in your body. The three hours won't change what is difficult, but the person who carries and supports so much also needs support themselves.
The evening ends with tea and light refreshments, and there's an opportunity to stay a bit longer and be with others who may know something of the same. You don't need to share or say anything - you can simply be.
