Maternity Café: Baby Sign Language - communication before the first words

Louise Russo introduces baby sign language: a method to support your child's language development, allowing them to express needs, wishes and feelings long before spoken language is established.

There is also time for socializing, play and sharing experiences with other parents.

The event is aimed at parents on maternity leave with babies around 3-12 months old - younger and older babies are also welcome.

About the venue: Lystrup Bibliotek

Lystrup Bibliotek is a neighbourhood branch of Aarhus Bibliotekerne and has been at its current address on Bystævnet since 1973. The single-room library houses a children's section, study spaces and a Borgerservice (citizen services) desk, and serves as a community hub for residents of Lystrup, Elsted and Elev. As an "Open Library", it can be accessed by self-service outside staffed hours. The local history archive Lystrup-Elsted-Elev-Nye Lokalhistoriske Samling is also based here, open on Mondays.
