Activities for Children and Adults at Langå Library

Emergency preparedness activities for families: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 14:00–17:00, 4. Langå Bibliotek, Langå. Admission is free.

Langå Library fills the day with activities for both children and adults as part of the theme day "Together on Preparedness".

For children, there are several activities. In the children's section, there is a preparedness suitcase where someone has packed the wrong items - can you figure out what should actually be in it? There is also a quiz where you can guess and win a prize, and a workshop where you make your own preparedness-friend bracelet (inspired by P4's focus on Preparedness Friends) - feel free to make an extra one for a friend.

Adults can test their knowledge with their own preparedness quiz, with a prepper box as the prize. Under the heading "Book Ready", the library gives away free books from a special book van on this day only - intended as comfort if the power goes out and you can't watch the next episode of your favourite series.

There is also cake and coffee for everyone, as long as supplies last.

The event is free, and no registration is required. It is part of the theme day "Together on Preparedness", which the library organises together with DR, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd and Østifterne, with lectures, activities and conversations about preparedness throughout the day.
