Emergency Preparedness Day: Opening Speech and Community Singing

Emergency Preparedness Day - community singing: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 14:00–14:30, 4. Langå Bibliotek, Langå. Admission is free.

Mayor Rosa Lykke Yde opens the emergency preparedness day with a speech. The day focuses on how we - individually and together - can work with emergency preparedness, and the whole family is welcome to participate.

After the speech, Peter Elmelund, the library musician from Randers Library, leads a few community songs with the visitors before the emergency preparedness day programme begins.

Entry is free and no registration is required. The event is part of the themed day "Together on Emergency Preparedness", organised by the library in collaboration with DR, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd, and Østifterne. Throughout the day, the library hosts lectures, activities and discussions about emergency preparedness.

The event takes place in Byrådssalen at Kulturhuset Langå.
