Lecture: DR Verificerer - Get Digitally Prepared

DR Verificerer - digital detective work: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 15:30–16:00, 4. Langå Bibliotek, Langå. Admission is free.

DR Verificerer is DR's editorial team that investigates stories and claims from the internet and everyday life using open sources and digital traces. The goal is to expose misinformation and disinformation and create clarity when reality is not simply true or false. At this event, you can go behind the scenes of their work.

Journalist Solaf Masoud, formerly host of the children's news programme Ultranyt, talks with investigative journalist Jonas Foldager about doubt, trust, and digital detective work. Using a concrete case as a starting point, Jonas explains how he discovered the story, which leads he followed, and how he uncovered what actually happened.

Along the way, you'll get practical advice on recognizing fake profiles, digital fraud, and misinformation, as well as tips for better protecting your personal information. The goal is that afterwards you'll be better equipped to pause and investigate things that raise doubts online.

DR Verificerer is DR's effort against misinformation and disinformation and aims to strengthen trust by taking doubt seriously. The journalists investigate stories and content spreading digitally and show openly how they reach their conclusions. Through journalism, communication, and education, the editorial team gives children, young people, and adults the tools to pause, ask questions, and assess what they can trust.

The event is free but requires advance ticket booking. It is part of the theme day "Together on Preparedness", which the library organizes in collaboration with DR, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd, and Østifterne. Throughout the day, the library hosts lectures, activities, and discussions about preparedness.

The lecture takes place in the Multisalen at Kulturhuset Langå.
