Louise Juul presents "Danish Women in Music" at Gudenåcenteret, taking the audience on a musical journey from wartime to today. The concert features songs written and performed by Danish female singers - from Liva Weel and Karen Jønsson through Trille, Pia Raug and Anne Linnet to contemporary artists like Annika Aakjær and Katinka. On stage with her is Uffe Holmsgaard, who plays guitar, harmonica, cittern, clarinet and ukulele alongside her vocals and guitar. The concert also includes a couple of sing-alongs with the audience.

Louise Juul is a singer and songwriter with a background in both classical and contemporary music, which she blends in her work. Originally from Juelsminde, she has opened for Roxette and performed VIP concerts before U2 and Bon Jovi shows at Forum Horsens. Over 25 years in the music industry, she has released three albums and an EP with her own compositions and lyrics in both English and Danish.

Music has been part of Louise Juul's life since childhood - she began playing guitar at 15 and has since written her own songs and music. Extended stays in the USA have inspired her with American musical traditions, particularly from American female singers and songwriters like Eva Cassidy, whom she often celebrates at church concerts across the country.
