10,000 Bees - Music Straight from the Horse's Mouth

10,000 Bees - Country and Americana: Saturday 16 January 2027, 19:30–22:00, Gallery ArtTour, Hillerød. Tickets cost 150 kr.

Gallery ArtTour presents a concert with 10,000 Bees, an American-Danish duo, on Saturday, January 16 at 7:30 PM.

The duo plays two guitars with two voices, some bass, foot pedal, and percussion. Aimee Sue Bobruk from Huntsville, Texas sings, while Copenhagen-based René Gummer handles the guitar work. Together they create strong vocal harmonies. Their music spans country, folk, and Americana: original songs in Danish and English, interpretations from the great American songbook, foot-stomping classics, and swinging versions of newer numbers.

Their repertoire includes songs by Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Patsy Cline, Amy Winehouse, The Band, The Beatles, Seal, Buck Owens, Louvin Brothers, Everly Brothers, Nik & Jay, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams, plus their own original songs available on 10,000 Bees on your music service. 10,000 Bees also performs in quartet and quintet arrangements.

Concert tickets cost 150 kr. Luxury smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) can be added for 175 kr. at ticket purchase - either a meat menu (roast pork with red cabbage and pickles, chicken salad with bacon and pineapple, roast beef with horseradish, fried onions and pickles) or a fish menu (fish with remoulade, crab salad, egg and shrimp), both with homemade rye bread. Smørrebrød must be ordered by Friday, January 15, 2027, and the option appears when you select the number of tickets under "Buy Ticket".

Doors open at 6:00 PM for guests who have ordered smørrebrød, and the band plays from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
