Professional ice hockey players in conversation: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 18:30–20:00, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning. Admission is free.
On the occasion of the Ice Hockey World Championship, Herning Library hosts a conversation evening with three professional national team players.
Among the guests is goalkeeper Emma-Sofie Nordström, who in June 2026 became the first Danish female national team player ever to be drafted to the PWHL, the world's best women's ice hockey league. Herning native Sofie Skott also participates - she plays for the German club EKU Mannheim (Mad Dogs Mannheim) in the top German women's league, DFEL. The third player is right winger Julie Oksbjerg from Odense IK Kvinder in the Women's League.
Blue Fox commentator Anders Skou leads the conversation, where the three players talk about their path to their current level, future dreams, the darker sides of the sport, and any pre-game rituals.
The event takes place on Wednesday, 28 October at 18:30-20:00 on the Platform in the library room. It is free to attend, but if you want a guaranteed seat, you must get a ticket in advance.
