Create Your Own Bird Feeder Station in Clay
From autumn 2026 to spring 2027, a series of creative workshops will be held around Nordfyn, and this workshop for children and their adults is the first in the series.
The workshop is about giving the garden's birds a gathering point: together you will shape and decorate bird feeders in clay, inspired by nature and the birds of the seasons. Along the way, you can experiment with shapes, patterns and details, so each station gets its own character. The clay is fired afterwards, after which the feeder is ready to be placed in the garden.
The workshop is aimed at children from 7 years old, who must participate together with a paying adult who is actively involved. The participant fee is 50 kr. and covers materials and light refreshments. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can read more and sign up via the workshop link.
The instructor is Anne Mette Markussen from Nordfyns Billedskole. The project is supported by Kulturregion Fyn, and the series continues with workshops in Bogense, Otterup and Morud until spring 2027 - see more about the individual dates on Nordfyn Municipality's website.
