Islands in Books: "The Liar" and "Sandø's Rose"

Two novels about the same events - but seen from different perspectives. Martin A. Hansen's "The Liar" centres on the schoolteacher Johannes Vig, who after meeting Rigmor must take a stand on his own life and responsibility. Jesper Wung-Sung's "Sandø's Rose" turns the same story around and lets Annemari tell how she experiences the meeting with Johannes Vig.

The lecture is held by Ole Juul (b. 1949), author, lecturer and former parish priest in Ødum-Hadbjerg Parish - and considered one of the most thorough experts on Martin A. Hansen's literary work.
