Red Cross 150 Years

Grenaa Red Cross celebrates 150 years since the founding of the Danish Red Cross with a free event at Grenaa Library.

At 17:00, the integration department hosts an international food café together with refugees. At 19:00, Hans Storgaard, Senior Humanitarian Advisor at the Red Cross, speaks about the organization's international work in crisis zones - he has himself been deployed as a delegate on several missions. Food, drinks, and the lecture are free, and registration is not required.

From August 31 to September 12, a jubilee exhibition at Grenaa Library showcases the Red Cross's history and volunteer work. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 14:00-17:00, volunteers from Grenaa Red Cross are present for conversation. The library also features a red bench with a QR code - scan it to hear a mini version of the podcast "Helt Frivilligt".
