Guided tour at Roskilde Museum - The Royal Palace: Thursday 22 October 2026, 10:00–11:00, Roskilde Museum, Roskilde. Admission is free.

On World Heritage Day, there is a guided tour of parts of the Royal Palace and the outdoor areas surrounding it. The protected baroque complex is being transformed into a modern visitor centre, and in a few years Roskilde Cathedral World Heritage Centre will open in parts of the building.

The tour is led by Caroline Lørup, exhibition director at Roskilde Cathedral World Heritage Centre. She will talk about the progress of presenting the world heritage and Roskilde Cathedral's 1000-year history. The tour lasts approximately one hour.

Meeting point is in front of the entrance to Roskilde Museum. Admission is free, but a ticket is required.
