The children's librarian reads aloud from a picture book while images are displayed on a large screen. The event lasts approximately 30 minutes and is aimed at children aged 3-6 years.

After the reading, there is time to play at the library and eat packed lunches.

Ørsted Bibliotek on Rougsøvej is a branch of Norddjurs Biblioteker and serves as a local cultural hub for the town. It offers book lending, study spaces and a children's section, and as a self-service library it is accessible for most of the day. Lectures, author evenings and children's events are held regularly, often in collaboration with Rougsø Folkeuniversitet.
