Thomsens Julestue 2026

Thomsens Julestue 2026 - Christmas music history: Thursday 26 November 2026, 20:00–22:00, SKØL Anneks, Kalundborg. Tickets cost 95 kr.

Thomsens Julestue returns to SKØL, opening the doors of Annekset for a guided tour through the history of Christmas music. Author, musician, music historian and radio host Thomas Løppenthin takes us through the traditions and archetypes of Christmas music with his extensive knowledge and entertaining storytelling - from the great classics to the more unconventional corners.

The programme features both well-known Christmas songs, pop interpretations of them, and alternative, overlooked Christmas music that perhaps deserves a place in the December rotation. Everything is played from vinyl and seasoned with stories and anecdotes along the way.

At the bar, SKØL serves cold, well-brewed Christmas beers to enjoy with the music.
