DSOI's spring meeting 2027 is titled "Modern Implantology: Fast Track to Function and Esthetics" and features dentist Marcus Hürzeler presenting his approach to contemporary implant dentistry.

Modern implant treatment increasingly focuses on achieving predictable, aesthetic results while making the treatment process more efficient and less burdensome for the patient. Hürzeler will demonstrate how thorough treatment planning, biological understanding, surgical principles, and digital workflows can be combined to shorten the path from treatment to final function and aesthetics.

Using clinical cases as a foundation, the key decisions throughout the process are reviewed - from extraction and implant placement to management of hard and soft tissue, provisionals, and the final prosthetic solution. Topics include: How can one work faster without compromising biology? When can the process be accelerated, and when does tissue need time? Which surgical and prosthetic factors are crucial for stable aesthetic results in the long term?
