Nordic Christmas with Choir SAGA: Sunday 6 December 2026, 16:00–18:00, Frihavnskirken, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 0–115 kr.

On December 6, Choir SAGA presents the Christmas concert "Nordic Christmas" at Frihavnskirken.

The concert draws on the Nordic tradition of finding light in darkness. After a long autumn of quiet reflection, Christmas is the moment when joy and song are set free. The programme alternates between slow, contemplative works and energetic, joyful songs - a contrast the choir hopes will showcase the many sides of Christmas music.

SAGA is an ambitious choir made up primarily of former singers from Sankt Annæ Gymnasium's Rhythmic Choir, and is conducted by Sofia Eide. The choir aims for a broad musical repertoire with strong voices and resonance, and typically holds one or two concerts a year. The repertoire ranges widely, from reinterpreted soul classics to fresh arrangements of current P3 hits, always worked through with precision.
