Prelude to the Literature Festival: Jens Smærup Sørensen — Thyholm Bibliotek, Thyholm

Award-winning author Jens Smærup Sørensen visits Thyholm Library with his latest novel "Mor" - an autobiographical account of the author's mother, rural women in the 20th century, and a young boy observing and growing up.

Smærup Sørensen made his debut in 1971 and has since published an extensive body of work, including "Mærkedage", "Evigt i tiden" and "Jens: en fortælling".

Tickets cost 50 kr. and include coffee.

About the venue: Thyholm Bibliotek

Thyholm Bibliotek is housed in Midtpunktet in Hvidbjerg, a local community centre established as a foundation in 2004, which also contains a sports hall, fitness centre, café, music school and local history archive. The library is a combined school and public library sharing both premises and book stock. Staff from Struer Bibliotek are on hand every Monday 10:00-12:00 (except during school holidays), and materials can be ordered for collection here via Struer Bibliotek's website.
