Description was written before the event

Kasper Futterup was hospitalized with psychosis for a full year in 1996 and diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Today he lives without medication and without symptoms, works full-time, and has spent several years working on the psychosis ward S2 at Gødstrup. He is soon starting a new job as a recovery specialist at Tangkær.

In his lecture, he shares his own journey through illness and back to a meaningful everyday life. He connects his experiences to simple theories about what can push a person into mental illness - and what can help them get back on their feet.

The lecture is for you if you are struggling yourself, are a family member, or are simply curious. You can expect concrete ideas for a better everyday life and a realistic perspective that change is possible.

Price: 50 kr. including coffee and cake.
