Hello Cancer - Welcome

Actor Esben Dalgaard presents the lecture "Hello Cancer - Welcome" at Skive Library. Drawing on his childhood in Vejle, his dream of becoming a lawyer, and his long, uncertain path into acting, he shares his personal journey through life's heavier chapters: his wife's depression, bullying, his child's serious OCD, and his encounter with a cancer diagnosis - what he calls a dance with death.

He also reflects on his time in the spotlight, including his appearance on "Dancing with the Stars," and his daily efforts to hold onto the light. The lecture includes an opportunity for questions and dialogue with the audience.

Esben Dalgaard is also the author of the book "Marked," in which he expands on his life story and his approach to living with and after cancer.
