In Slangetæmmer, Anne Bakland digs into sex, sexuality, gender, shame and all the odd rules we humans have invented for what counts as normal - and what definitely doesn't. With dry North Jutland humour, personal stories and a wry eye for human behaviour, she looks at our relationship to desire, identity and the things we'd rather not bring up at a dinner party.

Maybe the snake gets a bad rap. Maybe it isn't the enemy at all, but a stand-in for curiosity, sensuality and appetite - the parts of ourselves we spend far too much energy keeping on a short leash. Slangetæmmer is personal, cheeky and surprising stand-up about people, desire and our endless urge to be normal.

Running time: approx. 90 minutes, including a 20-minute break.
