Nattemørke - Author Talk with Louise Nielsen

Louise Nielsen discusses her work on Nattemørke, the second book in her crime series Nattens Gerninger. She speaks openly about the unique pressure of writing a sequel: expectations, personal struggles, and periods when the urge to write simply wasn't there.

The audience gets a glimpse into her creative process - how to develop characters that already have a life of their own, and how to build a darker and more complex plot. The talk also touches on the universe from her debut novel Nattevandrer and the family secrets and human dilemmas that run through the entire series.

Louise Nielsen (born 1974) grew up in Skive and made her debut with Nattevandrer, the first book in Nattens Gerninger. The series is planned for four books and takes place primarily in and around Sønderborg.
