Presentation and Workshop on the Future of Skive Church

How can Skive Church and the green area around it be redesigned and used in new ways? This question is the focus of a presentation and workshop at Hovedbiblioteket.

According to the organizers, the area has potential to become an active cultural and community space. The green area between the parish house and the two churches could become a public square with both gathering spaces and activity areas - a place for reflection, culture, and social interaction.

In autumn 2026, the parish council of Skive Sogn is running an idea process where future users can submit suggestions. Everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas about how the area should be used in the future.

Architect Esben Dannemand from Anna Mette Exner Arkitektur will present on the church's architecture. Ida Götke, chair of the parish council of Skive Sogn, will discuss the church's future possibilities and outdoor spaces. There will be room to present ideas for the new project.

Free entry, all are welcome, and refreshments will be served. Organized by the Parish Council of Skive Sogn and Skive Library.
