Tako Lako

Tako Lako is one of the most explosive and uncompromising live bands Denmark has sent across its borders. The sound blends psychedelic Balkan beats, dusty gypsy grooves, and electronic elements with manic live energy. Over the years, the band has built an almost mythical cult status on both the Danish and international live scene.

Throughout the 2010s, Tako Lako became known for intense, trance-inducing concerts where ecstasy, chaos, and precision merged into one. Skewed rhythms, heavy grooves, and sweat-soaked communal singing are always delivered with a raw energy that has taken the band to festivals like Glastonbury, SXSW, Sziget, and Roskilde.

After several years away, Tako Lako now returns with a new live show and new music, but with the same unstoppable intensity as before. The inner gypsy flame has never gone out, and the band is ready to transform concert halls and festival grounds into euphoric Balkan celebrations.
