Pokémon Day at the Library

Pokémon Day at the Library - free entry: Wednesday 18 November 2026, 16:00–19:00, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Join Pokémon experts at Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre for a day dedicated to the world of Pokémon. Learn how to play, trade cards, and identify authentic Pokémon cards. All equipment is provided, and you can borrow Pokémon decks for free.

The day culminates in a Pokémon Raid Battle where participants team up to battle a boss Pokémon. Success requires teamwork - things can go wrong quickly if you don't cooperate.

Recommended age is 9 and up. The event is free, but registration via the Billetto link is required. The library has some snacks available, but you're welcome to bring your own packed lunch. The event takes place in the Krea room on the 1st floor of the children's library.

Pokémon Day is part of Game On, a week-long gaming festival celebrating play, togetherness, and creativity. The festival features computer games and board games, celebrating the virtual worlds that inspire both creativity and play.

This year, Game On is held at Kildevæld Cultural Centre, Grøndal Multicenter, Kulturstationen Vanløse, Spillaboratoriet in Valby Cultural Centre, BRØK, Osramhuset, Nørrebrohallen, Tingbjerg Library and Cultural Centre, Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre, and Sydhavnens Library.
