A Message from the Future - Film Screening and Discussion / Climate Movement

At Birkerød Library, the British documentary People's Emergency Briefing ("A Message from the Future") is screened, followed by a conversation about its content. The film brings together ten experts for an open discussion about the major changes already underway. The aim is not to frighten, but to take the future seriously.

The experts discuss economics, health, and energy supply, asking whether we can stand together when the world becomes harder to predict. It is about risks, but also about opportunities, community, and the choices we make today. Expect to leave with more questions than answers and with new thoughts about what future we want to pass on.

Programme:
• 50-minute film screening with Danish subtitles
• Discussion salon after the film. We talk about what we have seen: What gives us hope? What makes a society strong? How do we take responsibility for the future without losing faith in it? First, participants talk in pairs, then the conversation opens to everyone.

The event is organized by Climate Movement Rudersdal and Kim Møller, a member of the national Climate Movement. Kim Møller is part of Al Gore's global "Climate Reality Project" and is a trained "Climate Reality Leader" among 40,000 like-minded activists worldwide.
