Experience MOD - Schools' Documentary Film Afternoon Screening
Kvarterhuset, Copenhagen · Free
On Tuesday, November 17, 4-6 PM, Kvarterhuset presents an afternoon screening of films from MOD - Schools' Documentary Film Festival. The event is open to everyone interested in how young people see the world.
Throughout the week, Kvarterhuset on Amagerbro has been transformed into a cinema with six screens where school classes watch documentaries created by young people. Tuesday afternoon is also open to the general public. The films are made by lower-secondary students who learned to tell stories from reality in just one week. They address faith, dreams, loss, and courage with honesty and emotion.
During the screening, Amagerplanen will present Projekt På Lige Fod, which helps young people aged 15-19 without Danish passports apply for permanent residence before turning 19. The audience can vote for their favorite film and help decide the winner of the audience prize.
Tickets are free and can be booked on Billetto.
