Game On: Retro and Video Games

Game On: Retro and Video Games: Saturday 21 November 2026, 12:00–17:00, Valby Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Try out classic gaming consoles from the days when your parents were young, or challenge your mum in the racing simulator. The selection spans from Atari and Commodore 64 through Super Nintendo and Sega Dreamcast to PlayStation 5 and Virtual Reality - all gathered in one place, so there's something for gamers of all ages and console preferences.

This event is part of Game On, a week-long gaming festival where gaming universes become new experiences through play, socializing, and creativity. You can play on computers, try a board game, or celebrate the virtual worlds that inspire and spark creativity.

This year Game On takes place at these locations: Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Grøndal Multicenter, Kulturstationen Vanløse, Spillaboratoriet in Valby Kulturhus, BRØK, Osramhuset, Nørrebrohallen, Tingbjerg Library and Cultural Centre, Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre, and Sydhavnens Library. The full programme can be found on the festival's website.
