Children and adults can try building and programming LEGO SPIKE robots, explore simple maker techniques, and discover what the new branch will offer. The event also previews ideas and projects leading up to Ada Lovelace Day.

The event welcomes curious people of all ages. Coding Pirates is also looking for volunteers to help build a technology community for children and young people in Faxe Municipality - no special technical skills required.

About the venue: Haslev Bibliotek

Haslev Bibliotek is the main public library in Faxe Municipality, located on Jernbanegade in central Haslev. It shares premises with the local citizen services office and offers loans of books, e-books, audiobooks, music and games, along with internet access and a wide selection of newspapers. The library hosts regular events such as author evenings, reading clubs and a makerspace workshop. Outside staffed hours, registered borrowers aged 14 and over can access the self-service library using a health card and PIN.
