At Birkerød Library during Birkerød Kulturnat, create your own monster hand puppet with Sisse from Rudersdal Billedskole. You decide how your monster should look - or draw inspiration from monsters in literature and mythology.

From 5 PM to 7 PM there is guidance to create your monster. After 7 PM the workshop continues on your own, and you are left to the world of monsters - if you dare.

The event is part of Golden Days, which in 2026 has the theme "Monster". Questions can be directed to Signe at siber@rudersdal.dk.

About the venue: Birkerød Bibliotek

Birkerød Bibliotek is the main library of Rudersdal Bibliotekerne, situated on Stationsvej 38 close to Birkerød S-train station. The building complex - which also housed the former town hall - was designed by architects Ib and Jørgen Rasmussen and opened in 1980. The library has sections for adults and children and regularly hosts events, talks and courses. Outside staffed hours, self-service access is available, and meeting rooms can be booked by residents and local associations.
