Marie Junker Boesen gives a lecture on the role of small farms in the future landscape - and how they can help address some of modern agriculture's challenges.
The lecture explores the value of small farms not as nostalgic remnants, but as active and relevant actors in modern society. Topics include local food production and food security, rural communities, generational succession, and food production in closer harmony with nature and a more seasonal food culture.
After the lecture there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. The lecture takes place in the staff room.
