Almost Irish

Almost Irish - Irish folk music: Friday 26 February 2027, 19:30–22:00, Jels Voldsted, Rødding. Tickets cost 295 kr.

Almost Irish returns to Jels Voldsted following their successful 2025 performance. The concert runs from 7:30 PM to approximately 10:00 PM. Guests wishing to dine can arrive from 5:30 PM, while doors open at 7:00 PM for all other attendees.

The band consists of four brothers who share both family ties and a musical upbringing, with a passion for Irish and Scottish folk music. They grew up with folk traditions and stand firmly in that heritage, yet have developed their own distinctive voice over the years, where authenticity, musical joy, and presence come together.

Almost Irish has performed across most of Denmark and internationally. They are known for energetic stage presence, compelling storytelling, and tight musical interplay. Their repertoire features lively reels, ballads, and Irish folk music, and while they maintain respect for tradition, they leave room for creativity and renewal.
