Jette Torp - And There Must Be Knitting

In this lecture, Jette Torp weaves together music, literature, and handicraft - with humor and warmth as the connecting thread. With guitar and her distinctive voice, she performs songs that hold special meaning for her, and shares stories from her own life along the way.

She also reads passages from books that have left their mark - both personally and artistically. It is likely the first time that Anne Linnet, Jesper Stein, The Carpenters, Marianne Fredriksson, Stine Pilgaard, Carl Nielsen, and Jette Torp herself appear together on the same stage.

There is room for questions, wonder, laughter, and exchange - and perhaps the occasional shiver. Knitting is welcome, but not required.
