DR Novel Club 2027

DR Romanklub launches in both Ribe and Esbjerg in 2027 - two groups with space for 10 readers each. From January to May, participants read and discuss the six novels nominated for the DR Romanprisen, one novel per month. After the five months, each group submits their top three, and the result is combined with votes from nearly 100 other book clubs nationwide to determine the year's winner.

Meetings are held on Thursdays from 16:30 to 18:00 on the following dates: 7 January, 4 February, 4 March, 1 April, 29 April, and 20 May 2027. The library provides premises, books, and discussion questions, and a librarian facilitates each meeting. As a participant, you only need to have read the book and be ready to discuss it.

Registration applies to the entire season, so check the dates carefully before signing up. The deadline is 26 October - send an email to Lenette at lans@esbjerg.dk and clearly state RIBE or ESBJERG in the subject line. If there are more applications than spaces, selection is by lottery. Group registrations are not considered, and all registered participants will be notified as soon as possible after the deadline.
