Oysterband's John Jones, Ray Cooper (Chopper) and Al Scott

Following Oysterband's farewell tour, vocalist and songwriter John Jones, original cellist Ray Cooper (Chopper), and multi-instrumentalist Al Scott have formed a touring trio under the motto "The song continues...".

Their repertoire spans Oysterband songs, John Jones' own compositions, Ray Cooper songs, and traditional numbers - all sung in three-part harmony. Al Scott also contributes on bass, guitar, mandolin, and as producer. As Jones himself puts it: "There are still so many songs waiting to be sung."
