Bobby Festival brings rock and pop from the 1960s and 1970s back to Sønderborghus with orchestras from the local area playing the great hits of that era.

Held every year on the first Saturday in November, the festival aims to give the audience a great day and the musicians a good setting. Part of the proceeds go to institutions and activities for children and young people in Sønderborg Municipality.

The festival's roots go back to 1987, when Sønderborg Library held a music event connected to Gunnar Korff Rasmussen's book "When the Beatles Came to Sønderborg" from 1986. Since then it has grown into an annual festival celebrating the music and songs from that period.
