Jason Shooster Trio plays Django/swing at world-class level

Jason Shooster Trio performs music in the spirit of Django Reinhardt and the jazz manouche tradition: gypsy jazz, swing and improvisation. The trio consists of three musicians from the band A Little Human! - Jason Shooster on guitar, Laurits Høgel on piano and Tomas Raae on double bass.

Jason Shooster is an American-born guitarist and composer with a deep passion for Django Reinhardt's music. During several years in Thailand, he founded Hot Club de Pai, an international ensemble that released four albums and toured Europe and Asia. He now lives in Denmark and plays in A Little Human!, Jacob Fischer Trio and several other projects. He has contributed to more than a dozen releases and is simultaneously studying to become a sound engineer at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

Laurits Høgel is a pianist with roots in both jazz and classical music. He is active on the Copenhagen jazz scene and plays in Gershwin Revisited, Dalia Valanciute Quartet and A Little Human!.

Tomas Raae is a bassist and composer who moves between jazz improvisation, cinematic soundscapes and modern pop. He is known for his attentive playing, his distinctive sound and his sense of mood and atmosphere. On the Danish music scene, he is a sought-after collaborator.
